Our subscription allows all of our parishioners, at both parishes, access to a large number of video-based study programs on Scripture and other Catholic topics, entertaining movies, informative and entertaining talks like those in our old Lighthouse CD racks in our churches, and also a large library of eBooks. All of this content can be accessed via a web browser on your computer, or via an app on your iPad, iPhone, or Android device. To get access, all you need to do is visit http://holyrosarystanley.formed.org, enter your e-mail address, create a password, and you’re set. You can also get access by installing the “FORMED” app from the app store on your device.

Underneath the dome of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, it was thought, was the actual burial place and bones of Saint Peter, the first pope. But the exact location had been lost. The Vatican undertook secretive (for good reasons, as the book explains) excavations underneath the basilica at several points in recent history. The most recent search was successful. This book details the surprisingly complex and fascinating story of how that search unfolded. And the story is inspiring for us Catholics, reminding us that our Church really is built upon the Apostolic Faith. It's a fast, interesting, and excellent read. If any of our parishioners would like to borrow the book, I can check it out to you. Or, the book may be found on Amazon by clicking the image to the left. -Fr. Jason

Because Bishop Kagan will be here to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation, the Mass on Sunday, April 22nd, at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary will be at 2:00 p.m., not 8:30 a.m. The 5 p.m. and 11 a.m. Masses will proceed as usual.
